The Link Clinic - FREE brief intervention mental health service
Offering Well Dunedin PHO patients aged 18 years and over up to six FREE 50 minute consultations with a trained mental health practitioner.
Well Dunedin’s Link Clinic provides short-term mental health support for people with mild to moderate mental health issues. The most frequent mental health issue for patients who are benefiting from the Link Clinic are anxiety, depression, and/or substance abuse.
Patients are referred by the general practitioner or practice nurse to a member of the Link Clinic team. The mental health practitioner then works with the patient to assist them achieve the changes they want and to develop coping strategies. |
